Aroma: Intense and persistent Calluna Heather heather flower aroma. Taste (mouthfeel): Sweet taste, with clear bitter and salty notes. Texture (crystallization): Rapid crystallization in medium to small size crystals in the middle of a gelatinous mass. PRODUCT INFORMATION Organic Calluna Heather Honey produced by our bees originating from calluna flowers belonging to a variety of high mountain heather, located in the Natural Park of Cebollera in Soria. Bona Mel Organic Calluna Honey is produced through certified organic beekeeping by our bees from the pollination of calluna flowers, belonging to a variety of high mountain heather located in the Natural Park of La Cebollera in Soria (Spain). Our Bona Mel Organic Calluna Honey has a light amber color with reddish hues, an intense and persistent heather flower aroma, and a sweet taste with bitter and salty connotations. We collect it from the hives in August. Like all our honey, it maintains all its multiple properties due to the preservation of products in their optimal quality and in the most natural way throughout the entire process from production to obtaining the packaged product.
